Founded in 1927 by Giuseppe and Bruno Bambi, La Marzocco had its beginnings in Florence, Italy, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. La Marzocco have earned a reputation for making high quality, superbly built and designed espresso machines.
In 1939, it was La Marzocco that developed and patented the first coffee machine with a horizontal boiler which is now an industry standard. This was the first of a series of important innovations which later included the dual-boiler system with saturated brewing groups.
The most popular machine in the La Marzocco range is the Linea which is available in semi automatic (EE), fully automatic (AV) and mechanical paddle (MP) versions with a choice of 1, 2, 3 or 4 groups.
Popular options on the Linea model include PID temperature control, barista lights and Teflon coated portafilters and steam wands. Custom paint finish is also available on this model.
